I visit Boyne Falls every now and then and if anyone's here has ever been then they know it's basically deer country in the fall. I'd get em hopping in front of me all the time, once I almost smacked what must have been a ten point buck. That would've made a nice trophy. |

My employer lives up near Richmond, next to a fairly busy road frequented by big rigs and the like, every now and then he finds his dogs picking at a deer carcass about 30 or 40 feet from the road side. I guess the trucks hit em so hard that they just go flying through the air. It's pretty grisly...

#19, I really like the front of it. I think the late model grille gives it some nice 3D definition, while the earlier model quad lights keep it from looking dull like the later C/Ks. |

#24, Definitely a nice touch, I hadn't even noticed. But personally I like the styling of the 99-02s better, even though they're engines knocked after 70K miles. And the 90s C/Ks always looked better than the W/Ts. But of couse, they were supposed to...

#26, I subscribe to Car Craft, and have all those issues. :D
Really the thing is plenty quick for right now (the punch is phenomenal), but later on down the line.... |

Looks pretty good Skid. You like the wheels on the truck, Skid? I think Torq Thrust (polished in 16s or 17s) would look really nice on this, and so would some Intro wheels. I kinda like the dash as it is, but yea, you definitely need to fix the important stuff first. |

#28, Yeah, the dash is sorta growing on me. I might just get a dash cover for the top of it.
I don't mind the wheels. There are some that would look better, but there's some other stuff to deal with first...combined with the fact that I'm making around $500 a month and $200 a month is going towards my schooling, the wheels are going to be there for a while. |

#30, Same situation as me. My Ram has teeny tires, but since I only make so much, new tires aren't at my priority right now. Unless I get them for christmas. |

After quite some time of struggling to pay for school expenses, I went to the financial aid office and found out that I qualified for a federal grant for the year, and the school is supposed to refund me everything that I've paid them thus far....which should amount to about $1500.
Naturally I'll invest this into something meaningful, and by "something meaningful" I actually mean "my truck".

Got a new radio today. It's a Kenwood KDC-1032. I wanted something of good quality with the most basic of features. Mission accomplished.
#34, I won't be getting the money until the end of March, but when I do, the first things I have in mind will be a new rear bumper (factory style), amber corner lights, and at some point I'm going to pull those wiper arms and sand them down, then respray them in satin black. Plus I'll make some repairs along the way, like the high-beams, the passenger's window, etc. |

#35, you're making it "custom" while keeping it looking good enough not to be in Truckin. Way to go. |

#36, Well I could get it into Reader's Rides, if they still have it. I would know, 'cause I haven't bought an issue of Truckin' since December of 2001.
I also joined Ricecop around the same time. Coincidence? |
