#2, i've never had any issues with it but i also clean it religously after using it. only problem i have had is that every now and then one of the cases will eject stright back rather than to the side.. not sure bout those rounds cause they are some el cheapo's for practice.

I was thinking about buying a good handgun with my bonus, but that stupid Sony radio in the truck is broken, so I'll likely spend my money there instead. I've always got my High Standard Sentinel, which is a great gun apart from the massive lack of stopping power in a .22 round.

#3, That's a stupid cliche. It's a weapon, not an affirmation of masculinity. Weapons have their purpose.

#5, Yeah, shotguns are useful for hunting, but a gun like that is only potential trouble. And don't bring out the "it's for protection" card, this is BS. Having a gun like that at home is most likely to cause an accident, hurting/killing someone you love.

#6, well i have been around guns since i was 8 and now own several of my own. And i use this gun more for target shooting than "protection" but i do live in a bad neighborhood and i do feel better knowing that i have my gun with me. And yes it does have a lock on it.

I'm not in any way pro-gun or anti-gun, but I've never felt the need to hold one or fire one. I believe everybody has a right to own a gun, as long as it's used responsibly and not used to intentionally hurt others or inflict some kind of fear into people. But as for people who feel invincible because they are carrying a gun, they shouldn't be allowed to hold or own one at all.

I dunno... i only own a rifle for the occasional hunting session. i was never a big fan of weapons at all.

#6, Protection is B.S.? I've had someone break into my tool shed twice in the past two years. How long before they come in my house? What do I do if they decide to? Throw spoons at them?

I've been handling guns since I was little, and long enough to know: Handguns do not cause accidents, being careless and stupid with them causes accidents. And the same could be said for just about anything, including cars.

It's dumb when people say "handguns should be illegal because nobody intends to hunt with them all they do is want to hurt people" Bullshit. If someone wants to kill someone, they'll find another gun, whether it be an AK or a streetsweeper. That's where guns like this serve their purposes

#13, Besides, some people hunt with handguns. I'm not a hunter, but if I were I'd probably hunt with something like a .44 magnum. Makes it harder to hit the target, but if you do hit it it'll die and not just get hurt.

if you need to have a licence for a boat or car, you need one for a gun. I need to be certified to be a lifeguard, you should be certified to own a gun. rights comes with responsibilities, wanna own a gun, prove you should. I have proved i can drive a car.

#14, Okay, but what about Mac 10, AR15s, and AK47s? People want those guns banned so bad, but if people REALLY wanted to kill someone, a 12 guage isn't hard to come by.

By the way, you can't hunt with all handguns. I guess you could, but some would just be pointless.

#15, Well put, but there'll still be people arguing about the 2nd amendment. Even if they implemented that policy, people would still get their hands on guns from shady dealers. The people that own guns for sport are the ones that follow policies, the ones that intend to kill usually dont't.

#15, You don't have to have a license to own a boat or car. You have to have a license to drive a car on a public street or go boating in public water, much the same way you have to have a license to carry a gun in public.

#17, That's what I never understood...gun control proponents want to put into effect more laws to stop people who are breaking the laws already in effect. Like criminals have some aversion to breaking laws.
