#11, Sounds about right. They'll fill out the front wheels a little better than the stock ~11" discs, too. I'm not worried about the rear brakes as much; I've got aftermarket pads in those, and the amount of force they contribute to braking has to be kept relatively small. I'd rather have the fronts lock before the rears. |

Blanks. I don't see a compelling need for slotted (and especially not drilled) rotors on most cars, although I suppose slotted would probably be nice in the rain. |

#15, I don't know. I'm not a magazine racer, so I'm not just going to quote someone else's dyno result--it'd be no better than a guess anyway. We'll find out when it goes on a dyno, probably in March.
I can tell you that:
* My old 3.8L made ~210 RWHP NA with major internal damage, poor exhaust flow, and the wrong cam. Basically, comparable to a stock '99-04 GT but with less torque.
* My new engine uses the same heads but has bigger exhaust and a well-chosen cam. Even in NA trim, it felt significantly healthier. Maybe 230-240 RWHP, with better torque than the 3.8.
* Supposed to be 11 PSI (I have no boost gauge, and I don't really want one). Intercooled. Temperature is less than 40*F above ambient on a typical WOT pull (yes, I have measured this).
It'd be pretty disappointing if it didn't at least hit 300 RWHP. However, unless there is something mechanically wrong with this engine, it should be somewhat higher than that. |

#16, The main point is that it should be fun. I'm still trying to sort out the tune so I can enjoy it until it's properly dynotuned by an expert, but it's showing some promise. I went from off-throttle to full throttle in 3rd gear around 3500 RPM and the change in acceleration temporarily disoriented me. Good enough. :p |

Should be good enough for the intended purpose, at any rate. The goal was to take a rental-quality car and turn it into a sort of quasi G-machine. |
