Ricer's Mom: There's not much room in this backseat!
Ricer: Ma... you really need to cut down on the starches and sweets. |

#44, Wonder how the backseat compares to an SN95 Mustang, room-wise. I can fit in my own backseat, but only just. |

#46, Not sure. I think they're actually similar. My wife used to have a '86 Firebird. |

Mine had really low headroom and a split seat cushion. Sort of like a half bucket, half bench design for the rear seat. |

You think a Mustang is bad? Try fitting me (6'2") in the back of a damned Eclipse... |

i'm 6'4 and can barely fit in my z's drivers seat.
the back seat is out of the question (unless the front seats are moved all the way forward). |

#48, Yeah, but I'm about 5'10"-11" and pretty scrawny. My head bumps the rear window, and I don't have any legroom at all. |

#51, Sort of. I think it was actually that it's easier to get in and out of a Mustang because it's upright sedan-like seating and the majority of pony car buyers are women who buy the V6s. The seating, long dash and steep windshield of the F-Body supposedly intimidate some women drivers. For the record, I love the low-slung seating. I wouldn't have it any other way. It's just like a Vette or 300ZX. |

#54, I'm 6.0", large-framed, (210 lbs), and my head just did bump the rear window of the Camaro.
I think the 3rd gen had more room than the SN95, but then again it's also a bigger car. |

#56, Makes sense. Since '94, our dashes are really rounded and not very deep. The seat is tall, the cabin is tall, etc. I usually have my seat leaned back pretty far just to get out of the extreme upright driving position. I really don't mind it too much, but the car (generally speaking) rides high enough that it tends to feel unsettled when you corner too hard, even compared to the (far larger!) T-bird I had before.
And why the heck does the V6 attract mostly women and ricers?!!?! |

#58, I probably will. A luggage shelf would be more useful than a seat. |
