Seriously, kids, you're laying it on a little thick. I feel like the Jehova's Witnesses have arrived at my door, which basically means that I'm going to start beating someone with a rusty golf club soon. |

#1, seems to me like a lot of people are laying the Anti-GM rhetoric on pretty thick.. with falsehoods and half truths.. it irks me when people talk crap about something which they don't really understand...
sorry, when people lay on the BS.. i tend to get defensive.. |

#3, Likewise. It's not like there are any Honda fanboys who are rabid.
That - and I can't understand why American's would shit on one of their own homespun industries. Fuck - what we don't even have and want - we can't get because of red tape. What the American's have and don't want just gets dismissed by them as if it was nothing.

Both Fr0d and GM are doing a perfect job of drilling themselves into the ground, and I don't know whether the recent mass layoffs of UAW lackeys are going to be sufficient to purge the problem.
That said, I think there are some people on here who apparently have nothing better to do that quote press releases verbatim and spew marketing rhetoric in a half-assed effort of feigning erudition. |

#4, Futhermore, the origins of our industries are irrelevant, sort of like their current products. Anybody who balks at the fact that Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, and probably dozens of other manufacturers actually do a fair bit of construction in the US is an idiot. After all, our citizens are getting employed, and they aren't working for free.
Additionally, I would like to point out that the US economy began a swing AWAY from heavy manufacturing several years ago, and the current unpleasantness in the "domestic" auto manufacturers (who seem to source most of their cars from Japan and Korea lately, anyway) is merely the tail end of this shift. |

There weren't any workable WRXs when I was shopping. :(
Ford's Fusion ads are baffeling. Life in drive, my bland sedan sets me free. |

Speaking of FoMoCo TV ads, I'd like to take that chick from the Mercury Milan commercial for a test drive. |

#13, I am convinced, by the fact that she is a spokesman for that fine vehicle, that she has no soul. |

#12, I love the one where the woman has 3 different shoes, shows them to the guy, and they all look the same. I know that feeling. |
