Description:
Evidence of flagrant mod abuse, exhibit A: new member KEFIR deleted for seemingly no other reason than average grammar. This will surely have me banned but I'm tired of this tyrannical behavior by who I suspect is a lone agent. |

#56, Let's be reasonable here, you can't approach the mods with concerns, and then fail to give them any information to act upon. If there's a problem, they need names, times and exactly what happened. If the person who claims they're being oppressed won't give those up, surely you can see what's going to happen.... nothing. |

#59, Again, we don't want to divulge how we come to our conclusions in situations like this, but I can tell you that we are all CERTAIN that it is the banned member. As stated earlier in this thread, if he had accepted his original banning, taken time to cool off for a lenghty period of time, and had come back and apologized for his behavior, I do believe we would have let him back, as long as he behaved himself. But he has been pulling this puppet-account stuff from the moment he was first banned, so there is no way in hell we would ever give him any leeway the moment we deduce that it is, in fact, him. |

#61, I am asking him. He has just said no. But let's say the relationship has not been positive between him and certain people. |

to be honest... i've seen lots of hostility from dirf towards adambomb. i'm guessin it came from the anime thread. all the bunny hatin and shit... but when other members post OT threads... for example some of dirf's OT stuff... they seem to be greeted well. |

This may be a little OT, but I 'auto-banned' myself from RoN forums. There was a clash between me and some members, I said I was sorry, etc. but I already didn't feel... comfy there. Like I didn't fit. Some time later hardcore gay porn got posted in one of my threads and I pretty much gave up. Now I hardly ever post on RoN, it just isn't worth it. |

#69, well... honestly, there's no rule as to how many OT pics you can post. i can see why he doesn't see anything wrong with it. there's quite a few pictures (car related and OT) that i ignore simply because i have no interest. in that thread when you said people that post OT images do so because they are funny or interesting, whereas i don't find a stack of anime DVDs to qualify under either category. other people found the anime thread interesting, and i found adambomb's roosevelt picture funny, because some members posted funny comments.
i guess what it comes down to is that old saying, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. just replace the 'if you can't say anything nice' with 'if it doesn't interest you' |

The forums have a totally different set of rules, mods, and members, aside from DiRF and myself, we dont' have a lot of cross-posters, they're really 2 different sites in the internal dynamics they have. |

#73, THat rule actualy stems from back when McMunkee was on the board, and he began flooding it with caption contest pictures and political BS. That's pretty much why it's in effect. |

I don't think I've ever even set the metaphorical foot in the RoN forums. I'm sure some of you would probably recognize me from here, but I just don't really know the general mood in there. On my comments here I try to be myself, but I also try to avoid stepping on too many toes. I guess this is just a big long-winded apology to any I may have offended here. I dunno. I ramble a lot. Wonder what's on the Food Network... |
