#220, yeah. the tests used to be way easier. now they test for some nitrate that involves putting the car on some dyno rollers. The only way I beat that, even with the 383, was to tell the computer that it was AWD, and thusly could not be put on the rollers. |

Geez, that's getting to be pretty stringent testing. I don't remember anything other than sampling the exhaust at idle when we had emissions testing here a few years ago. |

Well, I can understand the harder tests, we have a pretty bad pollution problem, but the tests are still easier than california's, so that's good.l |

In California they probably require your engine to put out cleaner air than it takes in. |

You know what would be fun? An SB2. 8000RPM smallblock, huge power. For some reason that just seems to match with how I drive the truck. |

Well your Franken-truck is twice the size of a civic and the the top of your hood is taller than a ricer's super-wing.

#228, if that's a compliment, thank you. Otherwise, I don't know what to say to that one. |

So everyone knows, the rig was recently dyno-tested at about 320 RWHP and 375RWTQ, through an overly restrictive stock 3" single pipe. Not too shabby. |
