im really not doubting that ford hasnt brough over a lot of vehicles because of worries of a daunting expense to meet all safety/business/emmisions requirements over here....yes...its feasable for them to do it...but it would realistically take many years to phase in vehicles produced for foreign markets...they should have started doing it in 04-05 when the shit started rollin down the steep part of the hill |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bill Ford is a pussy and Alan Mullaly is a moron and they don't know how to appeal to the consumers. The new vehicle segments are shit and are slowly causing Ford's market share to plummet and since they're siding with the environmentalists they're going to keep selling the hybrids until they start seeing natural growth again but that won't happen anytime soon. The thing is that whenever FoMoCo sees even a smidgeon of profit Ford acts like Jo-Jo the idiot monkey boy and thinks he's doing the right thing when in the long run he's really going to have to cut his losses quarter after quarter. Ford's too wish-washy to privatize the company and too stubborn to import Euro models. |

#4, Yeah, the Ranger's getting pretty long in the tooth, just the 93 version facelifted every so often, which in itself is based on the vintage 82 chassis. |
