Description:
"Allow me to present the new face of Coke.

They've done away with the bubbles, splotches, drop shadows and odd yellow streaks. Simplicity is the new name of the game. It's almost as if their ad team was staring at the stark and elegant simplicity of their Apple Macs for a few uninspired hours before suddenly realizing: "Less is more!" Welcome back to 1971, guys!"

They need to drop the classic prefix as well. That's sooo 1986.

Not like anyone's gonna think it's Coke #2 anyway.

I know Pepsi and Coke spend buttloads of cash trying to gussy up the outsides of their cans and bottles to attract more people to their sugar and carb laden concoctions but to a guy like me it doesn't matter how many colorful swoops and designs are on the label, it all depends what I feel like drinking at the moment. And I know there's probably all sorts of conclusive research to prove that humans have some kind of subconscious attraction to whoever's pop can is brightest but you know what? I don't give a hoot.

I was amused when Pepsi put all manner of custom wheels on their cans.

I prefer the clean look anyway, Companies need to learn that sticking with a long-standing and well-recongnized logo is the best way - it'll always come back in style anyway.

I like it. I particularly like the font they chose for the classic part. Couldnt be better in my opinion.
