Please note, this is a 11-12 second drag car...not a phat, bling bling "Street Racer". |

He experimented with a spoiler on the back (black) but confirmed that...FWD race cars odn't need them! So he took it off! Smart. |

Well, FWD _race_ cars do need spoilers/wings on the back if you want to take corners or brake that is, a drag car don't need one. |

420A, like the 2G eclipses. Unless he's swapped... which is possible, I suppose. The 420A really isn't all that great. 130 on tap from the factory, and with a Hahn Racecraft turbo kit, you might get 230 out of it. With eclipses out there running around with 510HP on motors the same size, that's not exactly stratospheric. |

Very mistaken ginseng...
He has a Mopar Performance engine that starts at 350 base HP...with plenty of performance add-ons. It was a swap from the 132 hp base. Neon R/T's have 150 base hp. He spoke about adding a small shot of Nitrous but for now he's all motor. |

Hate to challenge your overwhelming knowledge of engines, but 350HP out of a four cylinder - all motor - is unheard of. It defys the laws of physics for a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder motor to flow enough air through normal breathing to make 350HP. If he doesn't have a turbo under that hood, his HP claims are full of crap. |

You ever heard of a 4age they can get up to 400hp. No turbo no supercharger. And they are only a 1.6L. |

Believe what you want...with your 510 hp Eclipses with the same motor as a Neon... |

It seems like you contain some crap too in that case. The super touring cars in STCC and BTCC had about 300-320hp from 2l 4 cylinder engines. And they were restricted to 8500 rpm. Without that restriction they could easily build 350hp engines.

I have yet to see a 400HP Normally aspirated 4AGE. There simply isn't enough cylinder volume to naturally pump 400HP out of a 1.6L. Maybe at 12,000 RPM with a turbo or a shot of Nitrous. |

Thanks, guys. I hate how some guys who like imports like to lie and swap numbers on our Mopars and domestics because their engines are inferior. JUST FACE IT...AMERICAN MUSCLE CAN'T BE BEAT by Japanese economy cars!!!!! |
