Just curious, but is this Mopar replacement even still 2L? I don't recall anyone having said how big the new engine is..

I think it's in the range of 2.2 - 2.5, I can't remember, but it's very close to the factory size. That's not important because some people will still say it's impossible to have a powerful Mopar.

Well, 300+ hp out of a 1.6L or somesuch stretches the imagination a little. The same out of an engine over 2L in size, built up to be fairly wild, might be more believable.

How childish. There must be something on this phenominal normally aspirated engine somewhere. If you'd like me to concede that on 118 octane race gas, and a 15:1 compression ratio, and of course a complement of exotic (and expensive) racing hardware, perhaps 350HP is possible from a 2.0L engine, and that it is in this neon, you've got some convincing to do. This sounds like the shit Honda boys keep posting up here about thier civic Si. If anyone else knows where I can see this wonderful 2L powerplant that turns out 350 normally aspirated BASE HP, please let me know. Until then, I'll assume the owner's either full of shit or not normally aspirated.

#66: 100hp from a 1,5l engine is standard in new european, and japanese cars.

#68: this is not a Duster look-a-like! the strips are from a T/A Challenger and the Hood is from an AAR Cuda. and the black out hood was on both cars

Very good, Cuda man. This is the original black hood look...the riceboys think they are being unique with their Civics with black hoods. Haha. Dodge was the innovator of that look 35 years ago.
