#4, I believe OSS's underlining of "performance" was meant to point out that few of these cars listed are actually considered "performance cars."

#8, Yeah, but I would have thought Integras and Preludes would have vastly outnumbered them.

#6, I saw about that many at Car Craft nationals. I would've expected more to be honest. All of these cars listed can be "omg fast". You have to remember that alot of these cars are considered quick to thier followings, not to mention lots of speed parts are available for said cars.

#9, well integras do vastly outnumber them, GSRs almost out number RX7s

#11, Yeah, one could also drop a Roots blown Pro-charged 377 and 4 wheel independent suspension into a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic wagon, too. That doesn't mean that "Chevrolet Malibu Classic" belongs under a list with the heading, "performance cars."

#13, wtf. Obviously the vehicles brought to "import drag nights" are not stock. You either think I'm stupid, or you've never been to a non ricer import drag event. If I "sound like a ricer", to you, I'll say this. Quit bringing in non relevant items. Comparing a Malibu to an Integra is like saying I can beat a bone stock Nissan Sentra with a bone RWD converted Cavalier. Durr. You're sounding like a gritboy.

#14, stock, or modified to hell, a civic or many of these small cars are still not worth being called "performance" they're still econobox business there and back things. and im not being biased hre, same thing with a malibu.

"Performance" has a different definition for everybody. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been stretched to five pages with all the quibbling the topic can produce, espescially on a site like RoN. I'd share my own opinion, but I don't feel like stirring the shit at this moment.
