I still can't believe how clean your car is for an 80's GM product.

Let alone a 6000, though, a surviving Celebrity in decent shape would be odder. |

Saw an early 80s Skylark broken down the other night-in the middle of the road mind you.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen anything from this vintage for a very long time, in any shape, anywhere. The last one I can say for certain I saw was a grey Celebrity with NJ plates, but it was in the "waiting-for-a-reprieve-from-the-Governor" row of a garage, and probably dead. |

Saw an 80s Ciera and Electra today :P
(of course they used to make Cieras here so there's quite a few around)
Saw an 89+ Century coupe today, tho which is quite the rarity

Then again, I don't see many 80s cars 'round these days in general
the other day I saw 4 (including a mid 80s Civic) on the highway while going to work-8 or so miles mind you
and that was considered a good day

My neighbor's had a mid 80s Celebrity for a loooong time, afaik it was always in pretty good shape, they sold it a long time ago...or they moved, I really didn't talk to those people. |

#11, Someone in town here has a dark blue STE that's really beat up. That's the only one I recall seeing, then again I probably just never noticed them prior to Wimbles joining the site.
There's also a later (composite headlights) 6000 LE up the road from me in the same dark blue shade, owned by a little old lady who keeps it immaculate.
Then, of course, there was the silver over maroon 1985 6000 LE that belonged to a friend's mother in high school. I actually drove that one once....one massive piece of shit. It was falling apart six years ago, it's probably not even around anymore. |

#15, I think that is the pathway I shall walk with my new ride. Currently, roof graphics are in the works and photos will be appropriate |

If I can find any pics of my grandma's old 6000 LE, I'll scan them and post them (in the appropriate thread of course) |
