where'd they put that 1079 hp V8 exactly? in the bed? wouldn't it rip the rubber right off those super lowrider shinyass no-rubber rims?

Under the bonette. Where u think. And as far as i know its got those rims on it becasue at the time it was at the summer nats (in other words getting shown off had to look pretty). and he won the hp heros at that. http://holdenls1.com/Hpheros/ thats the site go have a look see for your self. We did have another ute such as this but a bungle at a drag meet killed the car and the driver in an istant. Thats the judge bit in that site.

It looks like a station wagon with the windows chopped off. I don't like it. Who manufactured it anyways?

1079hp would require full drag tires to even come close to gettin that to the ground.

Unless you start off in 6th gear....but then you'd probably screw up your transmission...

i thought wheels and tires were interchangeable??? i guess once u put a set on they can never come off? come on people quit being so foolish. i could see if it was a pic of this thing in action on a drag strip with these wheels. then by all means you could comment how stupid this guy was to leave them on. but for christ sakes its parked!

Like I said, I'd be more than happy with a stock HSV Maloo, I really wouldn't need any more power than that, I don't see myself drag racing. This one IS a beautiful Ute though.

Yeah, I'm glad Holden brought back the Monaro, what a great way to honor a true classic. (#912)

Hmmm...I rather like the Maloo rather than the HRT, The HRT's rear window is too small.

But what about the boat. That is one nice boat.

Yeah, that's one damned fine speedboat. But seeing as this is a car website, I won't go off on that tangent.

Those Supra owners can put 1079 rear wheel horsepower to the ground with wheels and tires like this. I think V8 owners should build more cars like this, just to prove to those import weenies where the best horsepower can be found.

We have a number of them over here now. So they are starting to become more common, but I can tell you that there are more 'super'utes than there are highy modded supras.
