I wonder if this car is still on the road somewhere, or if it's sitting half stripped in a scrap yard. |

#87, I'll vote for major rust + blown head gasket = cubed in a scrap yard. |

#87, Hey, what was the Probe anyway? I think of it as a zippy compact, what were the HP/weight figures? There's one for sale around here, it has two humps in the hood, not sure if that means something. |

#89, This gen of Probe (not this particular 4-cyl powered exemple) could be ordered with a 164hp DOHC 2.5L V6. It handled very good, though a weight of 2690lbs. Almost bought one instead of the Torino. |

#89, Probe was based on the Mazda 626, and it was in the same market as say a Dodge Avenger or Mitsubishi Eclipse if you will. The base ones were slow, but the 2.5L V6 ones weren't too awful. |

The Europeans still joke about them to this day, so you may not like them... then again, you did like that LH sedan. |

#89, It was a rebodied Mazda MX6. I understand these actually cornered well for FWD cars.
Specs for the 1995 Ford Probe GT are:
Engine: 60 degree V-6, liquid cooled, cast aluminum block and heads
Bore x Stroke: 3.33x2.92 in, 84.5x74.2 mm
Displacement: 152 cu in., 2497 cc
Compression Ratio: 9.2:1
Valve Gear: DOHC, 4 valves/cylinder
Fuel/Induction system: Multipoint EFI
Horsepower, SAE Net: 164 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque, SAE Net: 160 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm
Redline: 7000 rpm
Curb weight was 2921 lbs. |

BTW the Probe almost became a 1990 Mustang back in 1988 when it was shown, and a nice public outcry from Mustang fans across the nation changed things for the better. |

#92, Uh... LH sedan?
The one for sale is probably a previous gen, it's much more angular. |
