tune it as much as you like, but tune a good V8 with the same amount of $ that this guy used on his (if any) mods, and the V8 gets the edge as far as performance.

I'm pretty sure getting a streetable V8 into the 11s without nitrous costs much more. Not everyone buys into the "get a bigger hammer" paradigm.

maybe he eats V8's. literally. has some appitite towards metal. likes the taste of sharp metal sliceing his gums.

. or maybe that shity vegitble drink. maybe he eats the whole thing. glass bottle and all!.

. but this car (in terms of engine preformance) couldn't eat a V8. the only thing the driver eats is his mother.

I saw a 4.9 liter '95 Mustang in a mag once. The car had $1800 in the engine, a new set of tires, and a shift kit (yep, it was an automatic) and was running low 12s. Eat that riceboys.

Well does it come to any suprize to you guys that it doesn't take half the money to make a V8 faster? This car has half the cylinders, so of course it will take more money. And another thing, when it comes to exhuast on these cars, bigger is better(refering to turbo cars only) and for the most part you can't get a 3 inch exhuast without a fart can at the end.

Well, the thing that pisses me off is how these guys (like in the pic) take these cars, dump about $8000 in the engines, then act like they're special because they can beat a few stock V8s.

yup, if you look at their races... you will see them beating BONE STOCK camaros and 4.9L mustangs. And they act as if they've just won the Nobel Prize!

#29 I have beaten many stockish Z28's and GT's on the streets. And if I dumped 8 grand into my car, it would be running 11's. I'm am not tring to argue but just saying that not all of these cars are slow.

And yes we all know for the same amount of money I spend on my car a Z28 could be going a hell of a lot faster.

#31, Nobody said they are slow. I repeat, NOBODY said they are slow. But beating a stock V8 with a modfied 4 and then putting down the V8 is just stupid. A modded Civic could take down a stock Supra, does that mean a Civic owner would not be a dumbass for putting "EATS V6S" on his plate?

#35, I know, the "Talon" thing was a typo. I corrected it as soon as I posted it.

#36 To be honest I don't like racing V8's, it's so much more fun to put Civic's in their place. V8's scare me sometimes.

I made two typos....I also put "6" earlier in the statement. I just corrected that. I'm thinking of fast 6s, and the fact that the pic is of a Talon is totally throwing me off.
