The RSX. The name is an abbreviation for "Really SuX". Man, these things are ugly, looks like a Toyota Echo from this view almost.

#19, that coming a cavailer owner - you have issues

Acura = overpriced rebadged honda's - that's nothing to be proud of - especally the NSX.

as for the Chevy vs. Acura - i'll just ask who has the bigger worldwide market share?

Maybe i don't wanna get with the times and die in an accident because my car had such a puny crumple zone. Maybe i want a car with balls. Maybe i want a car with a resale value. Maybe i want a car that has a name to back it up. Maybe i don't want a car that is disposable. Maybe i don't want a car that will never become a classic or a memorible step in automotive history. Maybe i want a car that get better insurance than an rsx (up here - acura's cars are the second worst to insure - next to honda *bigsupprise*) - maybe i don't want a car made out of shrappnel fiberglass - Maybe i want a car that can easly be worked on WITHOUT voiding an unseen waranty.

I own a Cavalier and while I do like it, it is admittedly inferior among the world class sport compact cars from overseas (which started the revolution known as SCC). By the way, 4 cylinder cars can and do beat those big heavy V8s with their high reving torque and lightweight bodies while getting good gas milage on the street and STILL being reliable. Talk about practicality, they do it all! But we can stick 10 cylinder engines in 4 ton SUVs so they can actually move, so let's do that instead.

#21, besides - the rsx is front wheel drive. FWD has everthing to lose and nothing to gain.

#22, world-class sport compact car? - those are 3 words that don't even make sense when put together!

high-reving torque? - Excuse me but what are you drinking? High-reving torque sounds soooooo impressive - but that's the problem - ricers think your rpm's dictate a car's power. In order to use that "high-torque" you gotta start at the low end first. But i assume that since you crave high-end torque all the time - you drive the piss out of every car you drive (7k - 9k rpm's) because you think it's cool.

Go ahead and enjoy your high-end torque - we'll sit back and count the "high-tech"engines you go through.

(too bad our engines aren't designed to kill themselfs)

btw - BIG HEAVY SLOW V8's can take down small lightweight fast I4's - what's your point?

#19, "Camaros are so old fashioned though" - Actuall every car is old fashion when it comes down to it.

"Camaros are so outdated and clumsy, the only good thing is the unreliable engine" - Ohh so a FWD RSX is so much better handling than a sports tuned RWD Camaro? and sence when are they unreliable, I've seen more honda's and other foreign cars puke up there guts than I have Domestics.

"Get with the times and buy a reliable sport/luxury import." - Reliable, meh. Sport*procedes to laugh ass off* Luxury, ahh yes cheap leather is luxurious.

"Get low insurance rates from a car that actually has good handling characteristics," - The rates on a car greatly varies according to a drivers record and the company and there you go again with the handling crap, find the skidpad result from a RSX and Compare them to a same year Camaro SS.

#25, up here - acura's and honda's are the hardest cars to insure - that coupled with their high theft rate must be good! - i mean there acura's! that's all that matters!

#19, "and you gotta love those deluxe taillights, only something a company with good work ethic and innovation can produce." - So deluxe means that its already been done before but they just stretched it out and rounded it over to make it look new? And what is the first major break through Acura has made?

"When was the last time a domestic car maker innovated something and was actually up with the modern trends," - Domestic car makers are continually making small inovations here and there and since when is it good to follow modern trends? Trendy things go out of fashion rather quickly.

"and when was the last time they were reliable and looked good?" - 2003

"Domestic car companies and their fans are stuck in the 60's" - If we were wouldnt we all be driving hand painted Conversion vans?

#19, "still trying to grasp the concept of a well designed and built compact car." - I do beleive that Dodge made the Neon SRT-4 and they made the Omni GLHS back in the late 80's, what compact import can compete with them? Especially in the price range that the Omni and Neon are in.

"When the likes of Nissan, Honda, and Toyota take over 90% of the US market share, maybe they'll wake up and start producing practical vehicles." - Ahh yes the Ricer Trend of smaller is better will continue that long.

#27, only a matter of time before the "trendy" rsx takes a back seat to some more stylish car.

by the way - what the fuck is a modern trend and how is the rsx the pinicle of "trenditity"? - and who the fuck uses the 1951 word modern?

I mean heck, Camaros don't even have blue headlights! How are you supposed to see when driving that almighty car at 200 mph at night?

"Smaller is better", it beats the "bigger is better" redneck trend. Let's go easy on the earth's resources, sheesh.

#30, "I mean heck, Camaros don't even have blue headlights! How are you supposed to see when driving that almighty car at 200 mph at night?" - What type of moron would be driving anywere near that speed at night on public roads?

""Smaller is better", it beats the "bigger is better" redneck trend. Let's go easy on the earth's resources, sheesh." - How does it beat it? A stock Camaro can get 28 MPG on the highway whilst the much smaller and much slower and worse handling of the both can get what? And since when is it a "Redneck" trend? And if you really wanted to go easy on the earths resources you would stop driving a car at all and ride a bike aswell as use solar power for your house and recycle every little thing you use.

#30, what makes bule any better?

"Smaller is better" - i wonder how many porn stars tryouts tried to get in with that line?

"Let's go easy on the earth's resources, sheesh" - LEFTER!!! go protest an trade summit!

the earth is here for all humans to use - if we don't want to leave something behind for our kids - then that will be their problem. Fuck the earth!
