Description:
The RSX. The name is an abbreviation for "Really SuX". Man, these things are ugly, looks like a Toyota Echo from this view almost.

A slightly stretched out Echo, at least.

I can't really see why so many people seem to like these. To me, they just look like a more expensive Civic.

They like it because it has 6 spd, 200hp and 142tq for $25,000. Not knowing the for the same amount could get them a 6 spd, 310hp 340tq Camaro Z28.

You get a lot for your money with these. Not as much as you do with a WRX, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Cars keep getting taller and more slab-sided...and wheels start looking smaller and smaller because of it...so THEY have to get bigger and bigger...

Damn...my bubble-butt Capri looks more sporty than this...it's lower...and the wheels look bigger...

#14, I, for one would rather have a bubble butt Capri than one of these. Not a Honda fan.

#15, 80's Capri with a 302 would be just great. :-)

This is a sad case IMHO of a car that's great on paper, has impressive numbers, but it's sooooo ugly that I'd never own one, I would just not love it like I love my much, much slower F-body

In their defense, (having taken a mate of mine around an AutoX course in his) this little car has some of the best transitory balance I've ever seen in a stock FWD car, and that little 2-liter sounds about as un-Honda as you can get. I don't think I'd buy one, myself, but they are certainly not bad. They're just not world beaters. I know I'm out of place (a road racer in a world of draggers) but that's my opinion.

Keep in mind this is the guy that would take a 327 Camaro over one with a 454. I'm just a little bit off.

Camaros are so old fashioned though, who wants one of those. I mean think about it: Chevy... Acura... the choice is clear. Camaros are so outdated and clumsy, the only good thing is the unreliable engine... oh, that's right it's not good. Get with the times and buy a reliable sport/luxury import. The RSX is a great car. Get low insurance rates from a car that actually has good handling characteristics, and you gotta love those deluxe taillights, only something a company with good work ethic and innovation can produce. When was the last time a domestic car maker innovated something and was actually up with the modern trends, and when was the last time they were reliable and looked good? That's right, never. Domestic car companies and their fans are stuck in the 60's, still trying to grasp the concept of a well designed and built compact car. When the likes of Nissan, Honda, and Toyota take over 90% of the US market share, maybe they'll wake up and start producing practical vehicles.
