How about a 69 with a 454 that STOCK got 560 horses at 6400rpm? I'd take it over this ;) I understand it ran a SINGLE QUAD from heaven, too. Very, very few made (two). Called the ZL1. Had aluminum block and heads in -69-. Wanna drool about something? :) |

#15: I believe the 454 was the L88. The ZL1 was an all-aluminum 427 IIRC.
I could be wrong, though. |

You are correct, the LZ-1 was Chevy's all aluminum street racing engine, a few were put in Camaros as a COPO order, the rest were in corvettes |
