#59, It is. There's stuff that you can do to them, but they're certainly not fast in stock trim, the ride is too soft/bouncy, they understeer too much, and they're available with automatics.
Gas mileage isn't particularly high, but they're running 9.3:1 compression and very little advance, so they'll take 87 octane without complaint.

#57, I was disapointed in the rental maxima we had, it was a nice car and I liked it, until the POS didn't sense the key and I had to sit there rocking the wheel back and forth until it would sense it.

#60, true...... very true. That's the problem with most smaller displacement (3.0Ls for example) making higher hp. They have to run higher compression to get the hp, which makes them way more sensitive to the gasoline type being used. 87 for me on my 'lo-tech' 3.8L.

I know Ive used it quite a few times myself. I do like that it says swat though He's almost telling you to do what needs to be done to his head, for building this thing.

#75, stock, they aren't that bad... a little too small in the interior. With a 5-spd, it's almost fun to drive (used to own a '97 GXE Altima)
