#36, If they stick to the HIGHER-QUALITY cars, they'd have to chop those prices anyways to stay in good financial standing, so take your pick, keep the same old cars, but have to sacrifice price and maybe features, or make an entry-level car that gives them a few extra dollars so they can maintain the standards of the rest of their product line.

People who drive SUVs are just like that, same with a lot of Mercedes, BMW, any expensive vehicle.

Like I said, I agree with their decisions from a Business standpoint. At the end of the day its all about making a buck. I just wish they had put more consideration into what they did. I wouldn't have such a grudge against the Boxster if they at least made it look nicer. But again, my experiences with Boxster owners is they tend to be jerks...

Not saying the guys with upper models arent pricks. I'm just saying as far as Porsche owners I have met go, it has tended more to be the guys with Boxsters.

I know a complete prick who owns a 924. That was really pathetic.
Unfortunately this was long before I knew anything about cars so I just thought, "Wow! A Porsh!"

SO YOU LIKE THIS? Look at it. Who cares if it's the fastest SUV, it's a Porsche, it BETTER BE. It's just a VW truck chasis with 911 headlights! No wonder so many people are pissed at the company for making this monstrocity.

#48 Thats sorta my point. They spend 45+k on a car because it says Porsche. Sure, it kept the company afloat. But were I in their shoes I likely would have spent that on something more powerful (Say a 60's Camaro and some Engine work).

#50, Never said I liked it... said it at least has balls as far as an SUV goes. The Boxster had tiny balls compared to the upper-model Porsche's.
And since when do I have to have a valid reason for hating something? My valid reason is I don't like it because its ugly and the performance sucks for the dollar. It's all a matter of opinion, just stating mine.

I didn't say I loved it stock... even Pontiac could use some help stock. I'd take out the back seat and a few other unneccesaries and put in bigger turbos.

And they're RWD, which you can't say for many Jap cars in general.
