Description:
Ok, I'm taking a big risk here, because I KNOW you guys will see a little yellow and scream rice, but this was the Neon I traded in for my (completely stock) ZX2. I had a NICE sounding exhaust on it (no farting, nice deep tone), 15" rims with fat tires, a complete black tweed interior (done by myself and a friend) and a few minor performance parts, but I kept in mind...it's a Neon, not a racecar! |

The Wings West bumper was practically a gift from an insurance company. Hey, if I'm not paying for it, sure I'll take something more durable than a stock bumper. I slid into a guardrail at 25 MPH during a blizzard with that front bumper and the only damage was a tiny scuff in the paint that I almost completely WAXED out. If I'd had a stock bumper, I was told it would've cracked to pieces.
WHY CAN'T CARS STILL HAVE CHROME STEEL BUMPERS THOUGH!? |

I ran it up to 130,000 miles before I decided to part with it, and I got a great trade-in value for it. The only real problem ever...needed the tranny rebuilt at 121,000 miles. |

But yes, you do have to call rice on this for several reasons, 1. the grill mesh inserts along with the gaping hole in the center of the bumper, 2. the cut outs on the head lights, and 3. yes the yellow along with the big dodge benner on the hood. But really not that terrible a looking car, just not a fan of neons. But that is just personal pref. I know |

BIG DODGE BANNER? Where?
HEY, at least I kept it clean. :) Personally, I've grown out of spending money on cars like this, I want a simple point A to point B car until I get my classic Stang to play with. |

#4, It looks better with the grill IN than a "gaping hole" like most people with this bumper have. And yellow does not automatically mean rice. It does in a lot of cases, true, but not always. I couldn't think of a color to accent red well. |

Okay, I'm gonna resist the urge to unload on this one LOL Trading this in for a ZX2 was a good idea. But if you lost the headlight covers and painted the car a nice shade of blue, it'd look ok. And Neons use the same trannys as eclipses, so I'm not surprised. Was it a manual? Crunchy going into 2nd and 3rd? :)

I wanted a blue one but the red had had more options, less miles, and was a year newer than the blue one I was looking at. I later took off the headlight covers, they were just an experiment, I made them myself. |

HAHAHA! I'd shoot myself if I had to drive a pink car (Other than a '56 Caddy).
It's bright, regular RED |
