Description:
Ok, I'm taking a big risk here, because I KNOW you guys will see a little yellow and scream rice, but this was the Neon I traded in for my (completely stock) ZX2. I had a NICE sounding exhaust on it (no farting, nice deep tone), 15" rims with fat tires, a complete black tweed interior (done by myself and a friend) and a few minor performance parts, but I kept in mind...it's a Neon, not a racecar! |

#139, Yes, there are such things as large lightweight rims.
No, most of the large wheels that people buy are not that kind of wheel. |

There are a ton of lightweight wheels out there. These particular ones are OZ.
Who do you guys think you're fooling... do you think all these guys with cars that they do work on are that stupid to not know what their doing? Maybe some of them are dumb and just put on stupid stuff, but most of the time they aren't that idiotic... |

#139, what happens if you get up on a rumble strip/speed bump/pothole hard in those wheels? |

#144, What would happen if you hit any bump with any type of wheel?
A pothole will mess up any type of rim... any type of hubcap, anything.
Please make sense. |

Btw, mcmunkee, how's your ZX2 going?
Do anything to it? Or just keeping it all stock? |

#145, more rubber = more space between the road and rim = more shock control for big bumps. Trust me - I live in michigan... worst road in the states. |

I like my wheels/tire combination, 225/45/17 gives me enough sidewall to protect the wheels from any potholes (rare in my area) but it's still low enough profile to reduce sidewall flex for positive cornering. When I get more money rolling in I won't mind getting some nice light weight 17's like Rota Subzeros or Volk TE37’s. |

#146, KEEPING IT STOCK. It's a freaking ZX2, not a Mustang.
Well, I did get white gauges and FATTER tires. :) |

I don't think you guys understand about putting mods on the engine to make it faster.
A Mustang doesn't even need any work done to it, it's already got the best of parts...
Maybe one day all of you will see the truth... |
