I hate Famliy Matters...they ruined the Isetta...now, all the people that don't know shit about cars will refer to this car as "Steve Urkel's car"....

Hey, it's Steve Urkel's car.

:P

They DID ruin it, one episode Stevo was making out in the car with that hyper cheese-loving girlfriend of his, and the car fell off of a cliff.

#4, I didn't mean they ruined THAT Isetta in particular, but the average person's view on Isettas in general.

Pardon me, but why should I have a good view on Isettas? Interestingly quirky as they may be, I think I'd be a lot safer on a motorcycle.

I can't say I'd want one. I think it vaguely resembles a phone booth with wheels attached.

#9, Which might be a better thing than having everybody know it as the car owned by the nasal-sounding guy who made weird snorting sounds.

I think it's an "underground music" type of situation here, those who knew about it before resent that it's gotten a relitivly large amount of exposure in the "mainstream"

#11, "Oh, you drive a Cavalier, eh? Well, I drive a kind of car that you've never heard of. Bet you think I'm cool now!"

#11, Actually...I agree with that statement...think if some REALLY famous dorky character in a movie or sitcom owned a Tucker Torpedo, do you KNOW how much that would ruin the image of the car?

#3, Now I think, 20 years on, most people have mercifully forgotten about that connection.

#19, Thought that exact same thing when this thread loaded up for me just now. Also, due to it having three wheels, I'm guessing this was a British-market car originally?
