#41, *snort* I know what you're referring to--that forum thread was hilarious.

What I really need is some way of forcing more air into the engine. To heck with gearing it properly, hitting 55 in 2nd gear is fun. :-)

#42, Oooh, then I can put a huge "NOLOGY" banner on my car or something.

I turned my hazard lights on first so I win!

Heck, I accelerated away from a traffic light moderately once (shifted at 3500 RPM), and somebody in a WRX stood on it and blew by me. I mean, I know my exhaust is loud, but I'm not stupid enough to pick a fight (in traffic, no less) with a car that would kill me at launch and never look back.

He put that "win" over you on his "V8 kills" section of his website I bet. :P

12s NA in a 4 banger Honda is definitely possible, but the thing would be so highly strung you wouldn't be able to drive it. Even if it idled, it would produce insane hp and torque curves, and would probably require racing gas.

#52, it's hard to get over 200hp NA from a 1.6 engine... requires lots n' lots of high rpm revving... I'm trying to imagine the cam and head work that would need to be done....

#53, This might not be a 1.6, though. Might have had an H22A swap, that's pretty popular in CRXs.

#54, H22A would obviously weigh more, but it would certainly be possible to put a CRX into the 12's with one if you could get it to "hook."

#54, The card there says "Stroked to 1.9L" so it's probably still the CRX motor (assuming at least one thing on that card is true, of course).
Why you'd stroke a motor that can only make power with loads and loads of revs is beyond me, though.

#58, Hey, it's a start... just think of it this way, it's a riceboy who's finally realized a bigger engine might make more power.

Yeah, I guess you can look at it that way, but it's still hilarious that he spent the effort to do that to an 63-80HP engine (depending on trim level of his CRX).
