I used to be a DSMwhore, I bought mags that had them, printed pics of (riced even ) ones. Now, I really don't pay all that much attention to them, unless they catch my eye, and are not ricey.

Diamond Star Motors was setup by mitsu and chrysler to build the DSMs IIRC.
I think ford and mazda had a similer setup with the probe and such

GM's entire existence is just one big rebadging party. :-P I don't know whether they've had any named partnerships, but they've sold Isuzus, Suzukis, Toyotas, and a bunch of other stuff under their own brand names.
