Description:
Heh heh. It's like the guy is questioning the long term implifications of becoming a backseat passenger in a riced civic - what other may think of him.

Seconds later - those long term implifications become evident as he is now a subject of my poor filming and your ability to declare rice.

(and ricers say we have "no right" to call anything rice)

I've already commented numerous times that riding in something so small and light scares the crap out of me, especially at highway speed.

#4, Friend of mine has (I think) a '94 coupe with a 5-speed. Scariest thing I've ever ridden in, besides my sister's Escort (her driving makes life interesting).

having driven accords but never a civic i see why all the honda bashing occurs.
yes the civic does scare me a bit too, especially with drivers who feel invincible.
i was amazed at the sound of the engine (not in a good way) as it revved so hard to pass someone. my first thought: "that can't be normal."
my second thought: "small engines suck!"
i just don't understand why anyone would want one of these cars willingly over something else.

#8, Hehehe.

I never felt invincible. (In fact, quite the opposite. I have a picture somewhere of my car sitting next to an excursion).

Yep, the engine does suck. 90 Horsepower, I was surprised it could move its own weight.

#8, Its interesting too, because I4s don't have to rev that high to make any power. My volvo outruns all stock Hondas but redlines at 5000rpm. I shift at 4000.

#11, My little (1400ccm, l4) Italian engine peaks at 2900rpm (torque) and 5800rpm (power). Amazing, huh?
But the FIAT 127 my father owned (1050ccm and 75HP, yeeea) had peak power somewhere around 7000-7500rpm. With a carb!

I see no rice. Just a lowered Civic with 5 spoke wheels.
