Description:
I'm seriously doubting this if it is a type R someone is played out of money when the value of these go up but NE ways LIES LIES
Fong Yaaj - murdercity, Minnesota ( 3/13/03 )
This is the elusive 1997 Integra Type-R (only 400 made in the U.S.). It is considered the fastest stock 4-cylinder and one of the best handling cars under $60k ever made. It was a blast to drive but I made it better here is the list of modifications I made to the car: EXTERIOR- Ro-Ja formula 5 18` wheels w/ toyo proxes fz4 tires($2600), McGuard spline drive lugs ($80), kaminari full carbon-fiber hood($1130), matrix carbon-fiber taillights($210), calipers custom coated with ruby hiper color by HPC ($512), window tint ($280) INTERIOR- Jackson Racing boost, air/fuel, and fuel pressure gauges w/ autometer gauge pod ($400), Apex-i rev/speed meter w/g-sensor($300), Infinity Basslink sub/amp box($280) PERFORMANCE- Jackson Racing supercharger ($3200), map sensor convertor($210), Vpac v-tech controller($320), Comptech intake w/icebox connection($350), kamikaze header short4-1 ($350), Nology wires($180), ACT 3400 clutch($410), 6.75lb. comptech flywheel ($450), powerslot rotor front and rear ($390), AEM/Stillen racing pads($180), DC sports short shifter ($80), test pipe, O2 sensor simulator ($45), Groung Control coilovers ($320) Needless to say, after OVER $12,000 of upgrades, this car is fast and is a headturner. I`ve made many a Z28 and Mustang GT have no option but to look at the carbon-fiber altezzas.

that'd prolly be a 13-14 second 1/4 mile if thats a real type R but either way it goes this guy was a fool for doing this and altezzas = rice but its not that bad when yuo look beyond that

giving an itr 18 inch rims doesnt make it handle better considering the wheels probably hit the firewalls when he turns and those arent the recaro seats itr's come with

Fake! It IS NOT a real Type R. The Type Rs had a taller wing.

"I`ve made many a Z28 and Mustang GT have no option but to look at the carbon-fiber altezzas."

Those poor drivers. :(

(If he's even telling the truth that is. Maybe he's talking about 3rd gens?)

"after OVER $12,000 of upgrades, this car is fast and is a headturner."

And the only thing he can brag about is that he's beat Z28s and Mustang GTs. *shakes head* My LS1 Z28 only cost $17k for the whole car.....

under $60k? WRX STi ... faster and more tuneable than a 'teg. Hell, give me a Z28 SS and let me blow $30,000 on it....

tail, mirror, colour, and the kit are wrong. i think a real type r would be more valuable without the mods. Correct me if i am wrong but i think more than 400 made it to the US. There are at least 5 real ones running around here (3 white, 2 yellow), as well as about 70 fake ones (black, red, green and civics with integra type r decals)

There was someone with a black Type-R on on my block, it was stock. Traded it in and got a 04 R32 Golf, then traded that in and got a Jeep Liberty. (has kids now)

#1, they run mid 14's stock, so i doubt it would still be stuck there with a s/c and other mods
