Spending $4,000 in actual upgrades for a FWD is fine with me. But if someone spends $4,000 on plastic and stickers, then they're just a big ole dumbass.

#1, eh no FWD is worth 4 grand plus the cost of the car, not when you can get a nice Fox-body or 3rd Gen F-body for that

I think this looks more tasteful than an ordinary Tiburon.
So has Hyundai pulled itself up to a decent quality level? I put all Hyundais and Mitsubishis out of my mind a long time ago, and I'm wondering if they should be allowed back in yet. This is all about build quality and reliability, not about looks/performance/price.
(I wasn't put off by Mitsubishi's cars, rather the Mitsu-sourced engines in several of my family's old Chrysler products that had a tendency to catch on fire or suffer complete mechanical catastrophes.)

If I had a Geo Metro and I was into the whole "making my car look like a nicer car" thing, then, hell, i'd want a challenge like turning it into a lotus elise or something. Why bother making a Metro look like a Tiburon?
