Description:
94 Ford Probe SE w/ tinted windows, exhaust tip, wing.

If you are curious that fender HAS been fixed, there is NO uniwiper (thank god) and I plan to get graphics done like http://www.ricecop-photo.com/pics/fatf1eclipse.jpg but no body kits, engine mods, etc cuz a) i'm a cook/HS student therefore low $$$ b) the car is used, 122,000 mi, almost 10 yrs, and a ford.

#99, Yes - they are indeed Chevrolets.

They are also (in some areas) imports.

#98, Well, I guess if you really like driving it that much, you don't need to modify it. I really can't imagine a stock Probe being that much fun (and this is coming from a damn Volvo driver), but if you like it, more power to you (HA, a pun).

As for the side graphics, go ahead with them if you really want them. They're not really that bad, graphics on an otherwise nice car would only make for a "2" or "3" on our rice scale. On the other hand, the moment you put a large-mouth bodykit or clear taillights on this thing is the moment you will be flamed to no end. :)

#99, The plant that made F-body (Camaro/Firebird) cars was based in Canada if I recall. Additionally, Obsidian is in Canada, so Chevy is technically an import manufacturer to him, anyway. :-)

#103, There were two F body plants, at least in the '80s: One in Ontario (I think, it was somewhere in Canada) and one in Van Nuys, CA. My old Camaro was built in the Van Nuys plant.

#103, not technically - literally!

Chevy is a US sourced brand. I like in a foreign conuntry oustide the "states". All Chevrolets here are imports (even if there was an F-body plant in lowly quebec)

aight, lemme see what u think so i can get sleep. rice is anything that is attention grabbing. to most people the smallest exterior mod would get attention, and therefore rice. to my friend, and all the gearheads at www.apgmotorsports.com it would have to be something really flashy, like neon windshield wiper nozzles cuz they're used to it all. sounds decent?

#104, I enjoyed driving my Thunderbird, too. It was ridiculously underpowered, but was ever so nice to drive at highway speed.

I still want one, but with a stiffer suspension and a huge amount of power...

#108, Not necessarily the smallest exterior mod. Take Lemming for example: Last i checked, he was planning a Mach 1 front airdam and a small lower side stripe on his Mustang. Both are tasteful and therefore not rice.

I saw 2 hispanic guys get in a black probe of this generation today that had markings on the side from an auto wrecking yard and appeared to yhave been sideswiped

#113, Yes, taste. Either you have it or you don't.

There's nothing wrong with a stripe on the rocker panel. Hell, I've always been fond of dual stripes over the top (skunk stripes), even if they are decals. But those FnF "Flying Gargoyle on Its Rag" side graphics or huge Chinese dragons down the side aren't in good taste at all. But once again, vinyl graphics are probably the least ricey of ricey mods, so no one here is going to bitch about it if you do get them.

#113, To some extent, but generally nobody here is in favor of ostentatious vehicle modifications. Sure, you can do some cosmetic stuff, but the general goal should not be to have people look at your vehicle, scratch their heads, and wonder if you wanted it to look like a spaceship.

#115, "Flying Gargoyle on Its Rag" couldn't have described it better myself. that's the one that was at judgement day all over the place. not to mention i see a different car every week with it.

#119, None of that, no bodykits with out-of-place scoops and ridges, no gigantic or ill-fitting wings, no wheels bigger than 17 inches (rare exceptions for that one) and preferrably not shiny chrome wheels. All that crap = rice.
