Description:
94 Ford Probe SE w/ tinted windows, exhaust tip, wing.

If you are curious that fender HAS been fixed, there is NO uniwiper (thank god) and I plan to get graphics done like http://www.ricecop-photo.com/pics/fatf1eclipse.jpg but no body kits, engine mods, etc cuz a) i'm a cook/HS student therefore low $$$ b) the car is used, 122,000 mi, almost 10 yrs, and a ford.

the first thing i would do is put some decent rims on it...ford seems to love slapping ugly 3-spoke rims on anything in the lower price range...older mustangs, zx2's, and probes

that's a semi-fugly wing - is that stock? I though the probe wing was closer to the deck.

Yeah, i meant i bought it used.

i actually hate the rims, but i'm saving my money.

when i say i like what you call rice, i'm kinda implying "rice" is mostly opinion. i'm a big fan of body kits because they give a much better-than-stock-look. some people don't like kits. same thing with after market wings (the stock probe wings look dumb)

and, yeah its after stock

"umm then i think he has come to the wrong site"

Well, the site is called "Rice or Not". It's here so we can vote and discuss what makes a car rice and what doesn't. Naturally, it's going to attract some ricers trying to defend their "style" and indeed their whole way of life.

I for one don't mind ricers coming here to explain the logic behind some of the more extreme cars on the site, providing they don't flame.

OTOH, I like the ones that flame too, because they're fun to hose on.

#12, I vaguely recall reading somewhere (maybe even on here) that Probes and MX6s were built by a third "dummy" company as part of a joint venture between Ford and Mazda, sort of like the deal between Mitsu and Chrysler that produced Diamond Star Motors. Don't know if that's right, though.

#13, from what i have gathered, mazda built parts and ford built parts. i know the auto tranny in the GTs is ford where as the 5 speed is mazda

http://www.performanceprobe.com/text/info/dates.htm

"June 1992 Mazda Motor Manufacturing Corporation is restructured as equal partnership with Ford, renamed AutoAlliance International Inc.

July 1, 1992 Ford acquires 50 percent of Mazda Motor Manufacturing and renames the company AutoAlliance International, under which the Probe is built. "

So, at least the 2nd-gen Probes and MX6s were built by a dummy company.
