...but, judging by the size of those tires, it might need it. |

Well of course, tires are a direct measurment of how badly you need a wing. Bullshit. Is what i say. |

running a big ole Ford engine with open headers probably negates using huge drag slicks like that, and it probably needs the downforce, hence the reason I said it might need that wing. >:P |

If you have huge-ass drag slicks like this, on a car like this that was clearly not built for looks, it suggests you've got some power going on, and thus might need the downforce the wing provides. Especially since these old cars get almost no downforce from the aerodynamics of the body. Newer cars get much, much more, and thus are less likely to need a spoiler. |

chances the car is made out of fibre glass in which case the only thing the engine needs to push is the tires, the frame, the drive train, and the lardass driving it down the strip! Hense the wing is not needed and is stupid! |

I still think the wing looks like ass, even if it is functional. I personally think this thing is ugly all the way around. But it looks pretty fast. For those tires and being that short, though, I'd expect rollie bards, which I don't see. |

a similar car was on an episode of titus, they built a ford hot rod with a huge wing on the roof because the paying millionaire wanted a "dirt racer" look |

Am i wrong or right?
if a car is light and un aerodynamic wouldnt it need more assisted downforce? |

#9, I remember that one. It was an import style "erector set" wing, and Titus didn't want to put it on because it was hideous. Everyone else pinned him under the car and put the wing on to get the money. |
