regarding "real" tires. The stock ContiSportContacts aren't the best. but they seem to be very predictable while still maintaining an excellent degree of final grip. Too early to say how they wear, of course.

#49, I'm enjoying it. It is, if nothing else, extremely well balanced, with only a couple of deficiencies. It needs a limited slip, although not too badly, and the flywheel must be really heavy because it really hangs on to revs between shifts.

not yet. between the limited slip and the flywheel, I'd lose my entire drivetrain warranty.

#54, You mean you've actually had warranties honored before? From my experience, warranties don't mean much. Then again, my experience doesn't include new cars.
Couldn't you at least put some electrical tape over the tops of the headlights? ;)

more to the point, I can't exactly go dropping a couple grand a month on car modificiations anymore, what with the wife and kid and all.
