I've said numerous times that I simply cannot launch a car. The bad RT and long 60' time sort of confirm this. The car was also pretty badly heat-soaked from sitting so long; I don't know how this influenced the car's performance on this run, but it felt a little doggy. Of course, with my driving, the car is the least of my worries.

#4, They were trying to get as many people in as possible, since they had just one lane at that point; I was still getting the revs up when the lights came down. This was my first AND ONLY run. I really don't think I'm going to bother doing this again; it's not really worth the $15.

actually - I've never raced in the 1/4mi - too chickenshit I guess... I've seen a few races... but sheesh - I would feel like shit if I got beaten by a civic or something...
