#1, Somehow I KNEW the thing would be going for between $20-$30k...the final bid was $23,100.

#8, hahahaha, eeew, hahahaha. I'd think the final bid for one of these would be much higher. Personally, I wouldn't want a low mileage car 'cause I'd be afraid to enjoy it.

#2, Well, that, and the fact that it hasn't been enjoyed. A car like this MUST be driven....

... by me. ;)

There's a high-riser Grand National around here. It's only the second GN I've ever seen in person, the other being a cherry one at a collector car dealership in Biloxi around 1991 or 1992. I've also seen one T-type.

The Donks and what not here are relegated usually to B/G body cars, but usually they're just trashed out Caprices and old Cutlasses, nothing rarer like a GN or Impala SS.

#16, here it's

A bodies and G bodies, usually of the Monte Carlo SS, Chevelle/Malibu SS, and Cutlass 442 variety. There's tons of Caprices and Impalas around as well, and the odd lifted FWD Impala and Lumina and the occasional 1999+ Grand Am.

#17, I think I saw one 1969 Cutlass high riser, and that was about it for A-body Donks.

I've seen it done to all kinds of cars, but most of the ones I see are GM B-body sedans from the '80s and '90s....usually Caprices. Occasonally a '70s full-sizer or a G-body (usually a Cutlass) too.
