Description:
You know what the call a Dodge Neon in Canada?
-What, they don't call it a Neon?
No man, they call it an SX 2.0.
-An SX 2.0...what do they call the SRT4 then?
Well, an SRT4 is an SRT4, but they call it "Le SRT4". |

It doesn't matter what they're called. They suck anyway. |

#3, Not at all, with under $1000 you can make them 12 second cars.
Edit: And still be under factory warranty.

I find that really hard to believe that for under a grand. besides, I'm talking stock for stock. You look at an evo 8 or Sti. The evo runs 13's outta the box. I just don't think they're worth it.
(that's the stat's that I've read from a few different places)

But they cost $10 thousand more. So money for money, the SRT is the better way to go. |

still fwd...
You're right about the money though but I would spend the extra to have a better platform... not saying that evo's are great platforms but you know what I mean. |

The SRT4 is a great deal if you're looking for cheap straight-line speed. |

I know what you mean, I'd rather have an EVO too but the SRT is a good bargain for a decently fast car. |

About 2 months ago I found a 1990 Supra turbo for right in my price range. I was going to sell my talon and buy it because it was it was a much better platform to work with. Then things came up so it didn't happen. |

Granted that the SRT-4 is FWD, they do handle well. Sort of like the Honda CRX or the original Olds Toronado...you could say that they find away around their handicap. |

These get ragged on a lot because they're Neons, but I'd sport one. I think it'd be a fun car to drive. |

Is there something you can do about those goddamnugly headlights? Anything? Aftermarket, conversion... Anything that would make it less bug-like looking? (And no, Masking tape is NEVER a Solution!) |

I'd buy one if I wasn't already "invested" in something else. Don't the very latest ones now come with an LSD to help reduce torquesteer? |

#12, i was wrong. i have the dealer book right in front of me. SX 2.0 is now it. SRT4 is a package of the SX 2.0. no mention of neon on it anywhere. |
