#23, There's something about the burger king's down here...they suck hard. I've been to some in other states and they weren't bad, I think its just texas :( But we have whataburger, so it makes up for it :)

Steak N Shake rules much. But we got these generic one's here called Krekel's, that cost about 1/2 as much and have better fries(the big wide krinkle ones) And they have like 20 different shake selections and serve ice cream cones and stuff. Mmmm..... strawberry/lemon ice cream cone!!!!

I remember going to Saint John New Brunswick to visit relatives and we would always stop at A & W. The burgers and fries are great. And to wash it all down you get a frosty mug to fill with some root beer. I've never seen one around here until about 8 months ago when they built one in Gaffney SC.

#27, There used to be an "A&W Hot Dogs & More" restaurant near here...great freaking corndog nuggets and chilicheese hotdogs. And oh man, A&W Rootbeer float...mmmm....

It closed quite a few years ago, but they're adding one into a Long John Silvers restaurant near here, I'll have to check it out.

I remember this one resturant from a trip I took a few years ago called Roy Rogers and at that point they only had resturants on the NY State Thruway or something. I remember they had these action figures that came with the kids' meal called 'Freeway Warriors' or something.

#19, I've seen but have never eaten in:

Steak & Shake
Friendly's

I've heard of but have never seen:

Del Taco
In & Out

I've never even heard of:

Whataburger
Harvey's
Chipotle
Hot & Now

There is also nary a Jack in the Box or a Carl's Jr. anywhere around here. Although I have eaten at the former once before.

Hot 'n Now was a short lived chain in the early/mid 90s, I believe taco bell was the parent.
