you should also mention that some drag racing teams had problems with the windows popping out from the torque. one team cut the glass smaller and used extra rubber to keep it in place

actually, thats not so inaccurate.... thats why you see the two bars in the opening. They arent to hold it up, they're to hold it down. Some race cars had 4 bars across.
