That's the worst car I've ever seen still rolling, amazing that it still is in one piece. |

Looks like it's beyond restoration... I'm amazed that it still runs. |

Response to #5. In most of Florida, far as I'm aware, we no longer even have emissions test requirements. Which means that I want to stay in-state for a while... |

Actualy, I'm not surprised it runs, the body/styling pieces are 10X harder to fix/restore/keep clean than the mechanical pieces on a car. It took me one week to rebuild my project car's engine, but the body/interior is going to take at least a year |

The entire south doesn't have safety inspections or emission laws. I've mentioned that Geo Storm a couple of times on here, and it looked even worse that this car (if you can imagine that.A local guy owned it...it had been in a bad rollover accident, the driver's door was missing, all the windows were gone, and most of the front end was bent and broken beyond recognition. If it wasn't for the taillights, you wouldn't be able to tell what it was. But they guy drove it everywhere....despite the fact that it ran like it had wood screws in the combustion chambers.

haha, thats scary, Oregon's inspections are for horn and lights/indicators. In the biggest city (portland), emissions testing is required. There are quite a few barely-running and battered vehicles even with the minor inspections, I'd hate to see what it'd be like without them |

We have emissions inspections down here. I'm not going to say it sucks, because in my experience, two high flow catalytic converters only cost you about 2 hp, which I'm willing to put up with for cleaner air. |

no emissions or safety testing in michigan - the snow and salt kills off all the daily driven old cars...
not many japanese cars from the 80s around - but I see alot of rusting GM g-bodys... |
