Ya know, in all my years of employment I never really had a long term 9-5 job.
My mom's deli: Before/After school for a couple years; made a few bucks here and there, enough to save up for a Dreamcast when they first came out, and a Playstation 2 later.
Newspaper: Early mornings 7 days a week: It was strictly part time, the amount of accounts I had coincided with my payment. Plus tips, it twas nice but getting up at 4 in the morning sucked. I had it for a year and a half.
Lawn Business: Seasonal, weekly hours ranged from 15-40+, it depended on our workload. But I haven't had a long week like that in months, especially now that the season is closing out.
RMK: Engineering firm I worked at for about a month back in the spring of 2005, full time and $11 an hour made it a sweet gig, but I really didn't get along with anybody, nor did the engineers like me.
Gibraltar Trade Center: The only thing I could stand about this job was the people, (cont.) |

#1, working 50+ hours a week and making less than $300 just sucked. And coming home feeling like I just got into a fist fight with Oscar De La Hoya didn't help much either. I only had it for a month. They fired me after Christmas. My present came late that year I guess.
Busy "B" Cleaning Company: I really liked this job, and it was one of the few I was forced out of that I really regretted. What sucked was that I only worked about 10 hours during the week and made just enough to squeak by. I had it for about 4 months.
With the way I'm going career wise it'll probably be only a matter of time before I find myself in a $70 suit sitting behind some cubicle clawing my way into middle-management. I'm comfortable with my fate though, I already have a bunch of nifty "magic-eye" posters stockpiled that I'm going to decorate it with. |

Before going back to school, I made about 500$ net a week. In a month or so, after I finish school, I'll make about 800$. |

My highest paying job was about $440/wk before taxes, now I'm lucky to get a fraction of that, damn lousy Michigan economy. |

I take issue with the text in the picture, because I basically set my own hours. |

#15, I have a credit card, but don't buy much with it, just the odd diecasts now and then.
I am also one of 5 people in the universe without a cellphone.
