Its not rices but they look so much better without it. And they go faster. |

The wing really isn't awful. This is a sharp-looking car. One of the few Japanese cars I'd pay money for. |

Now all we gotta do is rig it w/ a 600 volt security system to keep ricers at bay |

There is one other wing. If I find it I'll post it. Its very uncommon I think it might be a one off job. |

Nice. These are nice cars, but for $30,000 you can damn near get a Corvette....and it won't be 5 years old.... |

#7 wanna know why they are so expensive? Numbers, there are only about 4000 twin-turbo six-speeds imported to the US from 93-98. I'm pretty sure there are a hell of a lot more Corvettes out there. |

Unfortunately, for that cost, you can get something newer with comparable potential and/or higher stock output. Not bad looking cars (when left stock) though. |

I wonder how ricers keep getting their hands on these? $30k isn't exactly Bentley territory but it's far from pocket change. I know that's more than I'd have to spend on a car. |

If I was aiming for insane HP, I'd start with something easier to work with. Sure, I've seen Supras put out insane numbers on stock internals, but that doesn't come for free, either. If I was looking to go crazy, I'd find a rolling chassis that could easily take a 350 or 302; both of 'em have huge aftermarkets, and can be built to make respectable power for cheap. |

#15, WHo ever said they're able to make the payments? They're impulse buys. |

#16 right, it doesn't matter how much power you make, it's how much of the power is usable. 700hp Supra's have trouble making 11 second 1/4 miles b/c their power is peaky and beastly from 50 mph plus. I've seen 500 hp Corvettes run 10's all day b/c of a nice flat torque curve that allows them to accelerate fast all the time. |

#18, True, but its also partly in set up. You can get a 700hp supra running say 9s even, but whos going to mini tub a supra, they are a handeling cruiser, not a drag car. |

#18, I always have thought hp is a rather inappropriate measure of performance on a car with a traditional gearbox. (You can only hold an engine at its torque or HP peak if you have a CVT or something similar.) Ideally, you want to be making power from idle to redline. If I can't have the full dyno plot, I think the area under the HP curve would be more informative than a simple peak.
