#8, The fire was caused by an electrical problem, which is rare because these cars(at least the ones from Miami/Duval, where this is), usually are well done(no pun intended) with frame off restorations, digital gauges, worked crate motor and many other things. Things like this are rare, the owner getting locked up for distribution is far more common than this. The guy who owned this is back now with a 74 vert' on GFGs and other things and its even faster to boot. |

#11, believe it or not, a number of them are, when you throw worked sbcs and bbcs into something no matter how shiny or size of rims, or weight of audio, its gonna go |

It's the same as a 1,000 horsepower diesel dually truck....it may not use its power or torque efficiently and it may not look graceful doing it (not to mention it would be hard as hell to stop and run the risk of tipping over in cornering), but yeah, technically it would be capable of high speed. |

#9, That's cool that they put so much effort into their cars, it's not cool that they make them look like massive, rolling pieces of jewelry.

#15, stopping, check, turning uhh well, how do you autocross on anything bigger than 22s? Much less a 70s landyacht that weighs 2 tons, stock or not. |

There are more things that I'd consider "turning" than just autocross. :p |

#18, High end rims
#19, as far as I've seen, for everyday driving, turning isn't much of an issue unless the car is lifted as high as a truck, but not many of these cars are dailys tough. |
