my dad works in a building across the highway on the left side of this photo. like only 1/8th of a mile away from it. all he heard was this thump and he looked outside (his office over looks it) and saw a big fireball and a bunch of smoke. when i heard about what i happened i went down to our guidance office and called him to make sure he was ok because you never can tell how far away shrapnel can be thrown (shivers) |

if i spat onto a car at this altitude - would it have enough velocity (i dunno if i'm using the right teminology here) to make a signifigant imapact on a cars roof? |
