One more word about the"Stuka" badass-guns:
They came into play later in the war.
When it became too dangerous to use the slow and vulnerable Stuka in the dive-bomber role, the Luftwaffe mounted a 3,7cm Anti-Aircraft cannon under each wing and used them as tank-destroyers.
Quite the same role that the A10 fulfills today.

ive alwasy liked it because it reminded me of Mad Max but in the air. The enignes look as i they are off a passenger plane but it has the fuselauge of a fighter/bomber. plus you and in the nasty chaingun. mmm sounds like a delicious recipe to me.
