Here's an end to the "Jap cars are better" bullshit. RECIPE FOR SPEED:
1) The $700 third-gen. Pontiac Firebird for sale near my house
2) A used Pontiac 400ci engine, Ram Air preferably. (average cost, about $1,000 w/ tranny)
3) machine work (bore & porting) to said engine (and frame for engine)... we'll say $3,000
4) suspension mods, maybe a roll cage.... let's say $3,000
5) paint, rims, tires.... $4,000 (I'm picky)
Total cost for a car that will stomp ricers on the strip AND road course, and look better doin' it.. $11,700
The look on Kamikaze Turbo's face as I smoke him......... PRICELESS
