#53, Japan is cool. I've just never favored Japanese cars much, and it's the Japanese car owners that originally started this whole rice thing. |

To sum up, since the new Cobra can produce 400 rear-wheel horsepower (about 480 at the flywheel) and 11-second passes with minimal modi-fications |

The 390 hp rating of the Cobra is the NET horsepower rating, which is measured at the flywheel. |

#66 Fiero, with engine swap. Quick, but not amazingly fast. Respectable, though. |

no mods biotches
"Without so much as a how-do-you-do, we tied down the bone-stock Cobra on the PHP Dynojet and were collectively impressed when we saw peaks of 360.7 hp and 358.7 lb-ft of torque displayed after our first pull. It’s worth noting the figures we’re quoting here are the absolute peaks recorded by the dyno. These usually occurred in between the 100-rpm reporting points shown in our charted printouts. Assuming a typical 17-percent loss through the drivetrain, this rear-wheel power equates to somewhere well north of 425 ponies at the flywheel from a factory-stock 281 " |
