So, my old Civic didn't come with a tach. I didn't put the biggest friggin tach I could find on the dash. I bought a 3.5inch tach (smallest they had) and mounted it by my shifter.

#12, Why by the shifter? Did you have a habit of looking at your shifter as you drive?

0-60 is 7.7 with all of that work? That sucks man, no wonder Ford dropped the Escort.

#1, I hate Escorts too. I'm glad stopped making them. They've always had the worst reputation. The ZX2 that replaced it however, is a great car.

#15, No, but the way it was positioned I could still see it by glancing out of the corner of my eye. It had a built-in shiftlight (not a big one, just a small LED in the guageface) that I set for when I went to the Dragstrip.
