#36, Once I get the fuel system, the Talon should do at LEAST a mid-13. Front Mount IC and more boost will put me in the 12's. |

#39, It's not. The only Escorts made at the time they introduced the ZX2 was a sedan, which is longer and shaped different. The coupe was a newly designed body. |

#42, No, a year later, to replace the cheap sport coupe spot in Ford's lineup when the Probe was axed. |

#43, the ZX2 was meant to be a "sporty" escort. I looked at one a few years ago |

Ford had in their plans long before the Escort was dropped to phase it out with something new. That ended up being the ZX2. Notice that they are only called ZX2s now. Not Escorts. |

#54, he means, if the made crown vics into 2 doors, changed put a new front clip on it, and called it a new name, it would still be a crown vic at heart |

#56, They didn't just leave 2 doors off. It's a different body. My neighbor has an Escort and I park beside of them, and the cars are not the same body....no where near the same. |

And yes, I am talking dimensions, not sheet metal and plastic bumpers. |
