http://www.internetautoguide.com/re...Escort_ZX2.html
The internet auto guide road test of the 2000 Ford Escort ZX2.
And here's a direct quote from a ZX2 owner: "While it doesn't look like it, the sporty little ZX2 is actually sold under the Escort line... A Ford Escort ZX2. It was added to the Ford Escort line when the old Ford Probe was dropped from production. Ford needed a new small 2 door sporty coupe in their line of cars and the Ford Escort ZX2 was it."
"My car doesn't say Escort anywhere on it though. Due to the bad connotation that name tends to have among many people in the US, I removed the Escort badging from the car after I purchased it. Which was no big deal, since by the 2000 model year the only mention of Escort left on the ZX2 is a little sticker on the left rear trunk area. Ford is obviously trying to distance the ZX2 from it's Escort heritage." |

#177, I'm often confused about your posts? Heh, right. I'm not the one that replies to everything with "Who?" or "What?".
And would you care to go to your Thunderbird SC thread and clarify a few things with us? |
