#16, I can't say that there's anything too unique about that. It's just how they're building FWD drag cars.

somehow, theyve managed to fit an NSX engine in it . . . i dont know why or how but check it out :

Here's something a little different for a front-drive dragster – a V6 engine. Signal Auto dropped an NSX engine into their Civic; no word on power, but this naturally aspirated little beastie is probably making power at least in the 400-horsepower range.

#26, And last I'd heard, it was only running 12s. They've probably got it going a bit quicker now, but it's still an awful lot of expense, considering the return.

#29, FWD draggin' is like trying to push a string, sink a lot of cash and tech, and you can one into the 12's, maybe even 11's, but for less than that, you can get a RWD car into the 8's

doesn't the fact that it would be quicker if it was mid engined or RWD have any relevence?

#31, I will not stop saying that because it's true, FWD is not meant for drag racing, it's inefficent when used in drag racing, and whatever you do to a FWD drag car, it can be done to a RWD one and yield faster times. You call it the beaten path, I call it what's been time tested to work and has not had a replacment come along that can one-up it
